Tackling FOMO

Has your fear of missing out got you stuck on the fence about if you want to have kids or not?

Your list of worries is long...

◇ "I'm worried I'll miss the freedom of my childfree life if I do have kids."

◇ "I'm worried I'll miss out on life's greatest experience if I don't have kids."

◇ "I'm worried that, no matter what, there's something I'm going to have to grieve."

◇ "I'm worried about being so busy with my kids that I miss my old life and who I was when I wasn't a mom."

If you're ready to loosen the hold that FOMO has on your decision-making process, Tackling FOMO is your next step.

"I didn't feel like any of my friends really understood what I was going through (they either always knew they wanted kids or didn't, or they had been on the fence but ultimately chose to have kids). After working with Keltie, I had a real 'a-ha' moment that has been a huge part of the shift in my mindset towards the whole decision."

"I feel like I'm missing out either way."

Mothers With Strollers

FOMO is one of the biggest things that keeps us stuck when we're on the fence.

It's totally normal to occasionally question what could have been, but when you're preemptively obsessing about what doors might close, before your decision is even made...

Then it's time to tackle FOMO.

Whether you feel scared you'll miss the freedom and ease of your childfree life if you have kids — or you worry that by staying childfree you'll miss one of life's most profound experiences — if FOMO has got you down, this session will help you find your way forward.

In Tackling FOMO, I'll walk you through how to come to terms with reality, stop ruminating about what might be or might have been, and find joy in what is.

"Keltie is so well-spoken and knowledgeable on all aspects of this decision."

Have a question about On Demand? I've got answers.

Q: What class should I start with?

A: I’d suggest starting with Find Calm in the Storm (if you, like so many of us, are totally spinning out about your choice!) or Discover Your Desires (to help you connect with what you want first and foremost).

That said, the On Demand classes can be done in any order, so pick the topic that speaks most to you. The most important part is to start!

Q: Is On Demand a good option if I want to hear from fellow fence-sitters?

A: You can certainly still get a lot out of the On Demand classes, but they are structured to be individual work.

If you’re interested in hearing from other fence-sitters, check out the Kids or Childfree Podcast, and if you’re interested in exchange with others in the same boat as you, try taking our Kids or Childfree Workshop or Kids or Childfree Group Program.

Q: Should I do this class alone, or with my partner?

A: I'd recommend moving through the material independently so that you can really take the time to get to know your answers. A Difference of Opinion, however, can be done with your partner.

Q: Is the On Demand class material the same as what's taught in the Kids or Childfree Workshop or Kids or Childfree Group Program?

A: No, On Demand classes were created so that you could theoretically purchase all of my Kids or Childfree coaching offerings and not hear the same things on repeat.

That said, there are certain ideas and questions that you may have heard me share before, because well, they're important and the approach works!
