An online class to address the painful emotions that keep you stuck about your Kids or Childfree decision.

Navigating Difficult Emotions

Making your Kids or Childfree decision has been emotionally painful: you've felt grief, anxiety, sadness. Shouldn't the choice feel good?

The source of your pain varies...

◇ "I feel so much anxiety whenever I think about if I want to have kids or not. I keep hoping I'll wake up one day and just know what's right."

◇ "Does the feeling of wistfulness I have when I think about staying childfree mean I should have kids? What about the panic I feel when I think about saying goodbye to my childfree life?"

◇ "I don't want to make this decision from a place of fear... but how do I know if I'm scared because this decision isn't right?"

If the intensity of your challenging emotions has been draining you, Navigating Difficult Emotions is the class for you.

"I felt like I was going in circles all the time about the decision to be childfree or not, and I needed concrete tools, so it wasn't up to my 6AM anxious spiraling thoughts. Now, I feel so much more at ease that whatever choice I make, it will be a good one."

Nope, it’s not just you.

I can clearly remember the swirl of difficult emotions that accompanied me as I explored my Kids or Childfree choice: guilt, anxiety, frustration, shame... grappling with this decision can bring up all the feels.

It’s time to process and make sense of whatever difficult emotions you’re navigating, and we’re going to do it together.

Learn how to use your emotions as teachers in your decision journey, and how you can move with and through tough feelings, instead of them keeping you stuck.

In Navigating Difficult Emotions, you'll have the space to stop and, with care, let those scary emotions speak. I'll guide you through what you can take from them as well as how you can begin to leave them behind.

"I feel armed now with how to think through future anxieties about the decision, or how to recognize that feeling some anxiety or sadness around the decision doesn't mean I've made the wrong one."

Have a question about On Demand? I've got answers.

Q: What class should I start with?

A: I’d suggest starting with Find Calm in the Storm (if you, like so many of us, are totally spinning out about your choice!) or Discover Your Desires (to help you connect with what you want first and foremost).

That said, the On Demand classes can be done in any order, so pick the topic that speaks most to you. The most important part is to start!

Q: Is On Demand a good option if I want to hear from fellow fence-sitters?

A: You can certainly still get a lot out of the On Demand classes, but they are structured to be individual work.

If you’re interested in hearing from other fence-sitters, check out the Kids or Childfree Podcast, and if you’re interested in exchange with others in the same boat as you, try taking our Kids or Childfree Workshop or Kids or Childfree Group Program.

Q: Should I do this class alone, or with my partner?

A: I'd recommend moving through the material independently so that you can really take the time to get to know your answers. A Difference of Opinion, however, can be done with your partner.

Q: Is the On Demand class material the same as what's taught in the Kids or Childfree Workshop or Kids or Childfree Group Program?

A: No, On Demand classes were created so that you could theoretically purchase all of my Kids or Childfree coaching offerings and not hear the same things on repeat.

That said, there are certain ideas and questions that you may have heard me share before, because well, they're important and the approach works!
